Sunday thoughts
So, I found myself at Gloria Jeans sipping coffee because I wanted the free WIFI. I plugged my power supply to the socket labeled "We charge 25/hour". Eh!?
I did the math: 90+ for the cappuccino + 25 for the electric = 115 for an hour. If I stay for two hours it will be 140 pesos. I was the only one there with street urchins finishing off the cups of coffee outside.
It's costly, yes, but it's better than in an internet cafe. Convenience vs. low cost, I'll take convenience, anytime and as long as my pocket can take it. Ca-ching!
